	<title>European Chocolates</title>
	<description>
From Dutch chocolates to French chocolates, one things is clear: many of the most renowned producers of chocolates in the world reside outside of the United States. Although this may be slowly changing, it is still the case today that when we want gourmet chocolates, we want European chocolates. The majority of the manufacturers of European chocolates have maintained very high standards, some for over a hundred years. After the cacao beans were first brought to Europe from the Americas by the earliest explorers, the popularity of European chocolates and chocolate products have only increased. They have not sacrificed any of the quality that made them so sought after in favor of quantity or for any other factor. European chocolate has consistently been considered the world over as rivaled by none.

European chocolates cost more for a reason
The cost of European chocolates, such as Swiss chocolates, may be a sticking point for many folks, but the fact is that you get what you pay for. First off the ingredients and processes that go into fine European chocolates simple cost more and that has to be reflected in their retail price. Another important reason why they are worth the expense is that it takes considerably less fine chocolate to satisfy a craving than it does of lesser quality chocolate. You can put the box down happy after eating only one or two Belgian chocolates.

There is a particular distinction that is evident in all fine European chocolates. They are much more pleasing to the senses with subtle flavors and textures that come as a result of the ingredients used. There are no artificial flavors or preservatives. Like Godiva chocolates for instance, European chocolates are simply not produced to sit on the shelf for an extended period of time, they are meant to be eaten while still fresh. They will not last as long as other chocolate that does use artificial ingredients, that is one of the costs of quality. A word to the wise- try a few German chocolates as well- they might lack the fame, but really deliver on quality.
