Corporate Chocolate Gifts

Most of the time, when you think of chocolate, you think of eating it yourself, not giving it as a gift. But chocolate gift giving is getting bigger than ever, and even big companies are getting in on the act!

Why Companies Give Chocolate Gifts
Most of the time, corporate chocolate gifts are given to customers, employees or as promotional items. Every once in awhile, the department store JCPenny gives the first 300 customers on a given day a candy bar when they enter the store. This is usually when they're having some sort of big sale and want to get a lot of people in the store. And in other industries, companies might give corporate chocolate gifts to their biggest customers to thank them for their business.

Corporate chocolate gifts are also used in areas like mortgage companies to thank someone for sending leads, or to encourage people to continue doing business with them, or simply to say thank you.

Sometimes companies want to give a small gift to each employee for a holiday. One company (that will remain nameless) used to give its employees a chocolate heart-shaped box that was wrapped in red foil and filled with chocolate-covered almonds that had been rolled in powdered sugar for Valentine's Day. These chocolate hearts came from a local gourmet chocolate shop, and it was just a gesture of the company's appreciation of its employees. And the employees enjoyed it!

Sometimes corporate chocolate gifts are given to show someone appreciation for a job well done. Companies can even get their logo imprinted in the chocolate. In fact, your company can buy corporate chocolate gifts in almost any shape or form. Some companies get creative and give chocolate business cards, chocolate computers, chocolate keyboards, even chocolate "money" imprinted with the company's logo. And some just prefer to keep it simple--a chocolate bar with the company's logo imprinted on it. Either way, chocolate gifts are always sure to please.
