	<description>
Caramels, chocolates, truffles, mints, hard candies, taffy....there's so much to choose from in the world of candy! What's your favorite?

Russell Stover Candies
If there's one thing Russell Stover Candies is great at, it's realizing that different people like different kinds of candies. They offer chocolate covered cherries, boxes of assorted chocolates, chocolate covered caramels, chocolate peanut clusters, pecan delights, chocolate covered coconut, toffee, nougats, mints and dark chocolates. They also have a whole line of sugar-free and "Net Carb" chocolates, and who could forget the holidays? Russell Stover makes specialty candies for nearly every holiday. Usually it's something like a peanut butter heart, a chocolate bunny, a chocolate-marshmallow pumpkin, turkey, santa or shamrock, a heart-shaped box of chocolates, a Christmas tin, a gift tower of chocolates and more. And one thing that makes Russell Stover's unique is that they put a "map" in the lid of their assorted chocolate boxes. This is to take the guesswork out of choosing a chocolate. Then again, you could ignore the map and just be completely surprised.

Since Christmas is coming, the goose won't be the only thing getting fat if you give the gift of chocolates. Of course, if you give dark chocolates, it's not as bad. At least those have health benefits. If you have high blood pressure and eat 3.5 ounces of chocolate a day, you can lower your blood pressure as well as your "bad" cholesterol. This is because it's loaded with flavonoids, which are excellent for you. Of course, it should be solid dark chocolate, not dark chocolate caramels or anything like that. And if you drink milk with it, you lose the health benefits. That's why milk chocolate and white chocolate aren't touted as being healthy. And speaking of healthy, they have a whole line of low carb chocolates that are delicious as well.

If you can find a Russell Stover outlet, you can get their candy at reduced prices because they are irregular. This just means these particular batches of candy didn't turn out perfect. They're still good, they just don't look as nice. They come in pretty generic boxes, so if you're giving them as a gift, you might want to wrap them.

Russell Stover isn't the only company that offers a variety of different candies, but when it comes to specialty candies or candy for the holidays, they are hard to beat.
