Candy

Candy is a kid's favorite food. But there are different kinds of candy, and the best is definitely CHOCOLATE!

Candy

What's your favorite kind of candy? We bet it involves chocolate!

Trick or Treat

Remember when you were a kid and you went trick or treating? When you got home, what kind of candy did you hope to find in your bag? Probably chocolate. But chances are you got your fair share of fruity or hard candies like butterscotch candy, peppermints, Jolly Ranchers, gummi worms or gummi bears, Sweet Tarts, etc. Those are okay, but even then you knew that nothing could compare to chocolates, especially Hershey bars, Snickers bars, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, Mounds, Almond Joy, Twix, etc. And special neighbors might have given you a regular-sized candy bar (but it was only for you--not other trick-or-treaters.) Now you probably sneak some chocolate candy from your own kids' Halloween bags. After all, they don't need all that candy anyway, right?

Giving Candy as a Gift

Now that Christmas is only a few weeks away, you're probably asking yourself, "What do you get the person who has everything?" How about a candy gift? At this time of year, there are a lot of people selling gift baskets. If you have a chocolate lover on your list, or even someone who loves all kinds of candy, gift baskets make great gifts. You can generally put whatever you want in them. But there are other unique candy gifts out there. Since it's Christmas and everyone's in a rush, we've done a little shopping around on the Internet for you in search of the most unique candy gifts we could find.

In most parts of the country, it's winter. And what's better in winter than hot chocolate? There are hot chocolate making machines, gourmet hot chocolate mixes and even recipes for hot chocolate mix in a jar! Give a gourmet hot chocolate mix and a cute mug to a coworker or your child's teacher.

For something a little more elegant, we found a one pound box of caramel corns in a gold foil box shaped like a star. It's only $23! If you have a bigger budget, we found a Christmas Tree Gift Box on chocolate.com. It has chocolate covered pretzels, cookies, marshmallows, a box of four assorted chocolates, a large chocolate bar, a box of chocolate covered raisins, boxes of gourmet cookies, chocolate lollipops and an edible chocolate gift card, all for only $50.

Happy shopping!
